About the Centre

Local residents within the Boscombe East, Boscombe West and Eastcliff & Springbourne wards (see the map below), whether of fixed abode or not, can choose to register with the health centre to take advantage of pre-booking facilities.  Patients are also welcome to use the urgent walk-in service even if they are registered elsewhere at another surgery.

The Boscombe and Springbourne Health Centre is managed by New Wave Integrated Care, which is a newly formed ethical partnership that will work together with local people and within the local community to make a meaningful difference to those lives.  The values of equality, excellence, choice, collaboration and respect are key to the partnership’s values and its profits will be re-invested into the local community.

The health centre aims to be a safe and welcoming place to all who visit, supporting local people in ways that are personal to them, and will promote healthy lifestyles to all.  The centre also aims to improve access to medical services to all local people, including those who do not traditionally seek support.
